Conrad Hotels & Resorts has welcomed guest to its new property in the French Polynesian islands – the Conrad Bora Bora Nui. The 114 room property is Bora Bora’s first five-star resort in a decade and blends the destination’s culture heritage and natural beauty with Conrad’s stylish and modern aesthetics.
The Conrad Bora Bora Nui offers scenic views ocean views, access to water sports, coral reef dive sites, and hiking trails. Formerly known as the Hilton Bora Bora Nui, the beachfront hotel is located on Motu To’opua, an islet off the coast of Bora Bora and about 20 minutes by boat from Bora Bora Airport.
It has 28 tropical gardens and beach villas, 86 overwater bungalows and two presidential villas – Bora Bora’s only two-story, two-bedroom overwater accommodations. Most of the villas are furnished with wall-to-wall sliding doors that open to private decks while overwater villas have catamaran nets for lounging directly over the water. Also, Select suites have private infinity plunge pools.
The hotel has diverse dining concepts to suit every apetite and mood. The Iriatai French Restaurant serves a modern take on the classic French brasserie in an open-air setting while the Banyan Chinese Restaurant settles diners into an intimate experience amidst the fabled mythical banyan tree.
Also, the Upa Upa Lounge Bar has unparalleled views of the ocean and setting sun, and the Tamure Beach Grill offers a casual beachside atmosphere and serves authentic Polynesian and Mediterranean cuisine. There is also the Iriatai Wine Bar and Tarava Pool bar.
For intimate events and romantic dinners, the exclusive private islet of Motu Tapu is just a short boat ride away. Guests will be duly pampered at the resort’s full-service Spa and beauty salon – the hilltop Hina Spa, which offers seven indoor treatment rooms and one open-air treatment deck.
