Renaissance Hotels, a brand of Marriott International known for helping business travelers discover unexpected experiences, has announced the opening of its first property in Sub-Saharan Africa – the Renaissance Lagos Ikeja Hotel. The brand currently operates 160 hotels worldwide.
Located in Ikeja GRA, 5km from the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), the Renaissance Lagos Ikeja Hotel is very close to attractions such as the Afrika Shrine and Kalakuta Museum. It offers world-class amenities, modern aesthetic, sophisticated service and unique programming that reflect the brand’s signature approach to feed the curiosity, fuel the imagination and excite the senses of its guests.
The hotel has 155 stylishly designed guest rooms, including 17 contemporary loft suites with elegant African touche. The rooms feature expansive seating areas with large LED TVs with 70 plus channels. Other amenities include an outdoor pool with city views and 24-hour fitness centre.
For large scale corporateevents and small meetings, the hotel’s business amenities includes eight (8) meeting rooms that can be adapted to cater to the needs of a six-person board meeting or a banquet-style event with up to 280 attendees.
Dining options at the Renaissance Lagos Ikeja Hotel include Cut, a specialty steakhouse, and Iyeru Okin, an all-day dining restaurant, offers buffet lunch and both traditional and continental dishes. The open 24-hours, Rbar takes care of handcrafted cocktails and lite bites while guest can enjoy sweet treats, aperitifs, and lattes at the Choco-Latte, the hotel’s stylish coffee house.
