Vienna is the world’s most liveable city for 2017. The Austrian city ranked highest for the quality of living for the 8th year in a row but Singapore ranks first for city infrastructure.
Last month, Mercer released the 19th Annual Quality of Living Survey which ranked 450 global cities against a number of factors including economic and political environment, infrastructure, public transport, health, recreation, electricity, portable water and housing.
Despite the political instability in Europe, more than 10 European cities including Munich, Basel, Berlin, Zurich, Frankfurt and Geneva made the top 20 list. The other non-European cities include Ottawa, Toronto, Melbourne, Sydney, Vancouver, Wellington and Auckland. Here is the full list of the World’s Most Liveable Cities For 2017.
